InsideOut Construction not only offers the highest quality in craftsmanship, but in painting as well. Most construction companies do not include painting as an option. They are content to have someone else do the painting for them.
At InsideOut Construction, the cost of painting your project is itemized in our agreements and the price is included in the total cost. In our screen porches the walls, railings and headers are all painted to match the trim of your home. Every seam is sanded, primed and caulked before a high-quality paint is applied. The wood tongue and groove pine ceilings are stained your color choice. Attention to detail is of the utmost importance in every step of construction.
Staining the pressure treated lumber installed on your deck or screen porch floor is typically left out of the agreement because it is not recommended to have your deck stained during the winter months when the outside temperatures dip below freezing in the nighttime hours. Wood manufacturing companies suggest you have the decking stained right away once it is installed but if the stain freezes before it has dried, it will need to be sanded off and re-stained. For that reason, we recommend waiting until the warmer months to stain your decking.
